Markus Coyle was a guard at the City Prison.  You met him there while looking for Fennic.  Markus was at least honest enough to tell you what happened to Fennic, and he seemed disturbed by the cover-up that the prison warden was undertaking.  You (mostly Phen) offered Markus a job as a guard for 5g/week, which he eagerly accepted. 

Markus is young (but already older than Phen) and unmarried.
